Lately some ladies at work and I have been obsessed with the “question game”. And now I’ll share this game with you. It’s just a bunch of “If you were, If you could, If there were no limits” questions that tend to turn out great responses. For example, if you were a cartoon character, what cartoon character would you be?
Today I choose Jem! Do you remember her or are you too young? Please tell me you remember her! When I was very little, it was one of my favorite cartoons. And when I was in high school and Hot Topic apparel featuring the TV shows and movies of the past, Jem magically reappeared in my life in the form of fashion.
Highlights: Jerrica owns Starlight music, fosters 12 children, and using a hologram machine can tug on her earring and project her alternate persona, Jem. Jem is lead singer in a great band that always wipes the floor with rival band the Misfits, who are real jerks. Jerrica and the band help kids, promote music, and have their own hologram machine, Synergy. What more could you want?!
Lowlights: Watching Jem as an adult really isn’t the same. It’s a little weird and the songs are not nearly as cool as you remember them to be. But then again the show ended in 1988 so it’s a little out of date.
