The Overachiever’s Holiday Season

Christmas makes me crazy. I am not an overachiever, but I desperately want to be. My holiday season plans included:

  • Send everyone I even mildly keep in touch with my family and close friends a Christmas card. In this card include a homemade Texas shaped felt ornament. (Abandon ornaments after states end up looking more Idaho.)
  • Make cinnamon rolls for everyone at the office. (Hopefully no one notices that we’re a few short. Those are currently still stuck to the bottom of a pan.) Specially wrap a few for boss’s family.  (See bottom of pan.)
  • Make ornaments for Christmas tree that you’re not embarrassed to claim as your own.   Invite friends over to make ornaments for your tree. Hide your ornaments in the back.
  • Ride the Trail of Lights at Zilker Park. Get too drunk at Anarchy Championship Wrestling to be able to go Zilker Park. No, I’m not kidding. That just happened.
  •  Eat, drink and be merry.
Obviously, this isn't exactly what happened but I think it pretty much sums it up.

  1. I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s
a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and
visit more often. Did you hire out a designer
to create your theme? Fantastic work!
